Our Other Apps Android Library

As mobile app developers with multiple apps on Google Play, there was a growing need to increase visibility and cross-promote other apps without relying on external ads or complex setups. Developers often struggled with promoting their portfolio effectively within their existing apps, limiting their potential for higher download rates and user engagement.

The goal was to create an easy-to-integrate solution that developers could use to promote their other apps directly within their current applications. This needed to be a simple, customizable, and lightweight tool that did not slow down the app's performance.

I developed an open-source library that allowed developers to add promotional elements to their apps to showcase other apps they own. I focused on ensuring the library was user-friendly, highly customizable, and lightweight. The library was designed to be flexible, allowing developers to easily modify and improve it according to their needs, thanks to its open-source nature. Detailed documentation and examples were provided to make integration straightforward.

The library was successfully released on GitHub and has been adopted by multiple developers. It boosted app visibility without extra advertising costs, increased cross-promotions, and drove more downloads. Feedback from the developer community highlighted the ease of use and the impact on boosting app engagement and visibility.
